To make a papercraft, the things we need are:
~ Paper ~
Minimal HVS 80 grams is thick enough, if you wanna more, you can use carton or drawingpaper (A3). For mecha and the stiff things such as weapon is recommended to use thick paper, for figure and clothes, it's better to use thin paper.
~ Printer ~
For printing, of course. The colour printer can be the best practical choice.
~ Scissor ~
To cut the curve or circle parts.
~ Cutter ~
To cut the square or straight parts.
~ Glue ~
You can choose the glue as you wish. If you often hesitate to adhere or too careful, use the glue that is dry slower. The quick drying glue is not always be a good choice. Even, if you are not sure with the pattern yet, use it only if you really know the part will be adhered. When you are wrong in adhering, possibly you have to start printing the pattern again.
~ Toothpick ~
To glue the narrow and small parts, If long less, use the palm leaf rib that tip was sharpened.
~ Pincers ~
Help to adhere the hard parts.
~ Needle/Pin and Ruler ~
To make the folding and adhering process easier. If you choose to use cutter, use the blunted part. Very useful if the paper you have used is thick.
~ Thin Glove ~
Honestly I never use it because I don't have it but some people use it to protect the printed-paper for not fading because contract the sweat (another method, work near electric fan).
~ Clear Aerosol Spray-Paint (transparent) ~
Because the ink of printer can't contract water, so, you can use it to make your papercraft not fading.
If you have had the templates or the patterns, to make a papercraft what we need to do is to print that pattern onto the paper then cut and adhere them.
To make papercraft from zero, in any case you have to able to use 3D Design Program before, then that 3D model is converted to papercraft's template using Pepakura Deginer Program.
